Brandon- the Chicken

This orphanage, just outside of Jos, Nigeria, has a wonderful tradition to make up for the fact that the children don’t know their exact birthdays. Instead of individual parties, they throw one grand celebration each year for everyone! During our visit, we got in on the fun by dressing up as chickens and performing the chicken dance. Picture a bunch of grown-ups flapping their wings and doing silly moves—it was a sight to behold! The kids loved it, and their laughter was absolutely contagious. Moments like these remind us how important it is to bring joy and laughter into their lives, even in the midst of challenges. It was a celebration filled with smiles and a whole lot of clucking!
